I'm now working at Channel 4 News, as an online reporter. My stuff appears on Channel 4's FactCheck website, and the Morning Report radio show and podcast. I occasionally produce TV reports too.
Before that I worked as a freelance journalist, for the Financial Times, The Economist, the Independent, the Guardian, the Register, the Mail on Sunday, and the Toronto Globe and Mail.
My particular areas of interest are politics, technology and finance, but I take an interest in pretty much everything that comes under the remit of news and sport.
Before all this, I studied Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge University.
I was born in Truro, Cornwall in 1975, and my parents' career took the family around the world, to Kenya, Indonesia, Uganda, Switzerland and France. I'm now settled in the East End of London.
My hobbies include cooking, playing the piano and supporting Leeds United.
